A talk entitled Artistry of Pocket Watches with Adrian Le Harivel

A beautiful gold and enamel pocket watch by the renowned Dublin watch and clock maker John Crosthwaite from the late 18th century. Originally from County Kildare, Crosthwaite spent many years in Dublin and had a very successful and wide-ranging career including the manufacture of watches, domestic clocks, turret clocks and precision timepieces.

Adrian Le Harivel is a well-known art historian and a former curator in the National Gallery. He spent many year working with the different collections including prints and drawings.
